Restorative Yoga is one of many styles and is quite different from your traditional class. This style was built on the premise that resting, breathing and focusing the mind is health promoting. In my own personal experience and in teaching I have found this to be incredibly true! In a Restorative class you can expect: minimal movement, long holds in comfortable postures, slow breathing and guided relaxation exercises.
